Mrs. LaBarron Funeral Is Conducted in Dows
DOWS, Iowa - Feb. 18. Mrs. J. L. LaBarron, 72, who died at her home Thursday after two years' illness following a stroke, was buried this afternoon, the Rev. R. R. Brough in charge of services.

Elma Ellen Rankin was born near Belmond June 16, 1861, and lived almost all of her life in Wright county. She was married to James Lathrop LaBarron in Cedar Rapids Dec. 31, 1891. There are two children, Mrs. Rilla Onita Powell and H. P. LaBarron of Des Moines and six grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, two sisters and a brother.
