Former Country Club manager dies

A former resident of Eagle Grove, Louis M. Ostbloom of Fort Dodge, died Sunday night in Mercy Hospital, there. He had been ill for the past year and in the hospital three weeks.

Mr. Ostbloom is survived by his wife, three daughters: Mrs. Sherrill Oppedahl, Goldfield; Mrs. Darrell Schaffner, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Paul Paine, Denison; sons: Robert Ostbloom, Fort Dodge, and Elmer Ostbloom, Manson.

Mr. and Mrs. Ostbloom and family lived here for several years, when they were managers of the Eagle Grove Country Club. They moved to Fort Dodge in 1944 and he was employed there for 22 years before retiring.
