Evelyn A. Fuller was born at Eagle Grove on August 18, 1913, the daughter of Frank and Jennie Swenson Strocke. In 1932 she graduated from Eagle Grove High School. She was married to Marvin H. Fuller at Fort Dodge, Iowa on October 31, 1936. He died in 1979. From 1941 until moving to Clarion in 1980, she lived in the Kansas City area. While living there she was a member of Bethel United Presbyterian Church, served as an elder, was choir director and organist. She was a former president of the Pleasant Ridge School Board and PTA. She had been a 4-H leader and a member of the Farm Bureau. Both she and her husband were charter members of the One-9 er's CB Club.

Evelyn Fuller died Saturday morning, Oct. 18, 1986 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion, Iowa where she had been a patient for a week. She attained the age of 74 years.

Survivors include three daughters: Marlene Fuller of Jacksonville, Fla., Margaret Potter of Independence, Mo., and Susan Fuller of Kansas City, Kan., six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carroll of Bloomington, Calif, and Jerry of Gower, Mo.; and two sisters, Jean Cullinan of Clarion and Violet Stithem of Anselmo, Neb. Her parents, a brother and her husband preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Evelyn A. Fuller, 74, of Clarion, were held Monday, Oct. 20, 1986 at the Eyler-Willim Funeral Home with Rev. William Granger of First Lutheran Church conducting the service. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery at Eagle Grove.
