STROKE IS FATAL TO MISS ELLIOTT

Lived in Eagle Grove Before Moving to Mason City; Funeral Saturday.

Miss Josephine Elliott, 66, died at 11 o'clock Thursday night at the I. O. O. F. home. She had been losing in health since a heart attack 10 days ago, and suffered a stroke paralysis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at the I. O. O. F. home, the Rev. C. D. James, pastor of the Olivet church in charge. The body will then be taken to Eagle Grove for burial. Miss Elliott was born Sept. 4, 1863, in Chelsea, Mass. Later she moved to Eagle Grove, where she lived for some time. She came to Mason City in August. She had suffered complete loss of her sight.

She is survived by one brother Charles Elliott, who resides in Eagle Grove.
