Miss Karen Lima was born in Norway, October 12, 1888. Her mother died when she was twelve years of age and she came to Illinois in 1910. In February 23, 1911, she was united in marriage at DeKalb, Illinois, to Adolph Edwards; and in March they came to Eagle Grove, making their home on the Alexander Smith farm east of this city.

After two years affliction with tuberculosis Mrs. Edwards departed this life Thursday, January 23. She is survived by her husband, Adolph Edwards, and two brothers in Canada.

The funeral was held at the United Lutheran church, Monday, January 27 at 1 o'clock, Rev. L. O. Thorsen conducting the services. The interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.

The bereaved husband wishes to thank his neighbors and friends for their generous gifts of flowers, kindly sympathy and many deeds of helpfulness.

The warm Sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved husband in his great affliction. .
