Phillip Marshall Nesheim, 75, of 319 Pleasantview Drive died of myelofibrosis Friday at Heritage Manor of South Des Moines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at West Ullensvang Cemetery in Thor. Mr. Nesheim was born in Thor and had lived in Des Moines since 1955. He had been a contractor and Navy Veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Rosemary; Two daughters, Beth Hopkins and Suzanne Rowland, both of Independence, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Elaine Hill, Diana Simmons and Gail Johnson, all of Des Moines; a son, Michael Nesheim of Des Moines; a stepson, Wayne Ludlow of Des Moines; two sisters, Lillian Murphy of Mesa, Ariz., and Faith Wendorf of Elmhurst, Ill.; a brother, Norman of Newell; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Southtown Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
