August 4, 1899 --- March 11, 1985

Ruby E. Stickel, 85, of 3202 W. 68th St., Davenport, died Monday at Franciscan Medical Center, Rock Island. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Esterdahl Mortuary, Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, Silvis. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

The former Ruby E. Floyd was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa. She married Warren DeWayne Stickel in May 1919 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He died in November 1958. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Post 9128, Bettendorf. Survivors include sons Richard, Davenport, and Virgil, Silvis; a daughter, Dorothy R. Stickel, Rock Island; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Millard Floyd, Rib Lake, Wis., and a sister, May Pingel, Fort Dodge.
