September 22, 1921 ---- February 13, 1998

MUKWONAGO, WI -- George "Jim" Northrop, was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa on September 22, 1921. He passed away February 13, 1998 in Mukwonago. Jim served in the United States Navy during World War II. After the war he settled in Burlington, eventually retiring from Hubbard Milling Company. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (nee: Roberts) Northrop of Mukwonago; and their children, Roberta and Michael Ratliff of Bloomingdale, Ill., Richard and Sally Northrop of Green Bay, Sarah Wagner of LaCrosse, and Bryan and Becky Northrop of Rockton, Ill. There are also seven grandchildren. No visitation is being held and the family will be having a private service at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made to the Ross Wilcox American Legion Post of Burlington.
