November 23, 1903 ---- August 12, 1974

Otto Ransford, 70, of Niblack Rd., died Monday, 12:30 p.m., in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Eagle Grove, Mo. [Iowa], on Nov. 23, 1903, son of James A. and Eliza Jane Courtney Ransford. His wife, Edith Ransford, preceded him in death. He was a retired construction worker. Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Eliza J. Ransford, Vincennes; two children, Ike Ransford, Washington, and Ward Ransford, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Klein and Mrs. Jewel Judah, Vincennes, Mrs. Ruth Harmon, Cumberland, S.D. ; and six grandchildren. A sister and a brother preceded him in death. Funeral will be Thursday, 10 a.m., Gardner Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
