The remains of Kenneth R. Winans were taken Friday afternoon to his former home In Eagle Grove. Iowa, for services and burial. French-Fitzgerald is in charge of the arrangement

Kenneth R. Winans Funeral Monday
Kenneth R. Winans, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Winans died from coronary thrombosis on April 24 at Albuquerque, NM where he had been since Dec. 12th, 1961. He is survived by his parents, Mr. mid Mrs. C. G. Winans, two children, Mrs. Richard Hartman of McMinnville, Ore., and Roland C. Winans of Port Angeles, Wash, seven grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Roger Wilcox and Mrs. Lester V. Olson.

Services were held at the Kastler Funeral Home Monday, April 30th with Rev Lyle Lieder officiating. Interment was at Rose Hill cemetery.

He was born at Hawarden May 9, 1907 and lived most of his life in Eagle Grove. He graduated from the Eagle Grove high school in 1925 and attended the Janesville Business College at Janesville, Wis. Later attended Wayne University at Detroit, Mich., where he was employed as an accountant for many years.

Relatives attending the services from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Staley from Hampton; Mrs. Thelma Warman, Mr. and Mrs. A. Voigt, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Nolte from Iowa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clawson, Wellsburg; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Scurlock, Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Olson, Goldfield and Mrs. Avon Turner, Ottumwa.
