Marjorie M. Naumann, 73, Davenport, died Monday, March 31, 1997, at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport, Iowa. Services and burial will be held at a later date in Salt Lake City, Utah. Visitation is 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Memorials may be made to Scott County Humane Society.

Marjorie Paulsen was born May 26, 1923, in Renwick, Iowa, to Sidney and Lucille Southwick Paulsen. She married Charles E. Naumann June 17, 1944, in Fort Monmouth, N.J. She taught at Davenport West High School for 28 years, retiring in 1988. During WW II, she was a civilian employee at Signal Corp Laboratory, Fort Monmouth.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Marcia Smullen, Pacific Grove, Calif.; a son, Mark Naumann, Salt Lake City; and two grandchildren.
