Complications Following a Broken Hip Prove Fatal to Pioneer Eagle Grove Citizen.

Mrs. Joseph Kist, Sr., 71, died at her home in this city on Tuesday morning after an illness of several months. She came to America 48 years ago and made her home in Eagle Grove. She is survived by her husband and nine children, one son having been accidentally killed while engaged in his work as boilermaker at the round house about 20 years ago. The surviving children are: Mrs. Eugene Cunningham, Denver, Jacob and J. J., Eagle Grove, Mrs. Sophia Koontz, Mrs. Katherine Edgren and George of Los Angeles, Edward and Wilford A. of Minneapolis, Mrs. Elizabeth Williams of Independence.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will take place in Calvary cemetery. The sympathy of the entire community is extended the bereaved relatives in the hour of their greatest sorrow.
