Julia Ann McDonald, Newhall, wife of the late John E. McDonald, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A graduate of Tobin College, Fort Dodge, she taught public school at Rolfe for several years. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and a charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Surviving are a son, the Rev. J. Robert McDonald, Newhall, with whom she made her home; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Services: Tuesday, 10 a.m., at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Newhall, by Father McDonald. Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Rosary Monday at 8 p.m. at Teahen's, where friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday.
