Obituary of F. G. YEOMAN
Frank Galatia Yeoman, was born at Delhi, New York, May 29, 1839 and died May 17, 1917 at Eagle Grove, Iowa, age 77 years, 11 months and 18 days. His boyhood days were spent on a farm near Delhi, New York. He attended the Delhi academy and taught school in that vicinity. On September 21st, 1859 he was married to Miss Lucy A. Schryver at Polo, Illinois, and spent his early married life at Milledgeville, Illinois.

To this union five children were born two of whom died in infancy. He is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. W. A. Brisbin, of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Mrs. G. W. Pratt of Sioux City, Iowa, and Rev. G. O. Yeoman of Rogers, Arkansas, also by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Yeoman practiced law for 41 years at Webster City, Iowa, Eagle Grove, Iowa, Richland, Mo., Logan, Iowa and Milledgeville, Illinois. He was Sergeant at Arms of the 24th General Assembly of Iowa, and at one time quite prominent in the politics of the state. He was a member of the Mason lodge for 56 years.

His last sickness began last November, and has been at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Brisbin in Eagle Grove since last December where he had every care that could be given, until the final summons came, and his immortal life was no longer to make its home in clay. The funeral was held from the M.E. church Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. R. D. Acheson, officiating.
