DEATH REMOVES MRS. ANNA C. DANIELSON

Pioneer, Wright County Woman Dies at the Home of Her Daughters in Omaha, on Saturday June 8th.

Mrs. Anna C. Danielson, 76; died Saturday in Omaha at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Elma Thompson and Miss Maybelle Danielson. She had been a resident of Wright county for 52 years. She moved to Omaha a few months ago to make her home with her daughters.

Anna Caroline Nelson was born to the parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Nelson in Dane county, Wis., Feb. 17, 1859, and died at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Elma Thompson and Maybelle Danielson, Omaha, Neb., June 8, 1935, age 76 years, 3 months and 22 days.

When Anna was about 5 years of age the family moved to Grinnell, Iowa, and about two years later they moved to Polk county, Iowa, where they remained. Anna was baptized into Christ Jesus in infancy, received instruction and confessed her Christian faith in her youth.

In 1883 she came to Wright county which has since been her home. On the 14th day of March 1893, she was united in marriage to Samson Danielson. Mr. and Mrs. Danielson lived on their farm home near Eagle Grove, where Mr. Danielson passed away from this life on Nov. 12, 1902. Four children were born to this union, viz; Elma, McKinley, Maybelle and Carlyle.

In 1910, Mrs. Danielson moved into Eagle Grove, which has been her home until last fall when she went to live with her daughters. She is now survived by the following: Rasmus Danielson, Plerpont, So. Dak., Fred Danielson, Miami, Fla., Mrs. Anna Sadler, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Mary Quinn, Englewood, Calif., Jake Danielson, Englewood, Calif., and Mrs. Elma Thompson, Omaha, Neb., McKinley Danielson, Pierre, So. Dak., Maybelle Danielson, Omaha, Neb., and Carlyle Danielson, Chicago, Ill. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two brothers, viz: Walter Nelson, Elmore, Minn., and Will Nelson, Fairmont, Minn., and by one sister, Mary Nelson, Slater, Iowa, and by an unusually large number of friends.

Mrs. Danielson was a very friendly personality, where help and loving care was needed she was usually the first one there, and the most faithful helper. She was a kind Christian mother who willingly did all that any mother can do for her children. She loved her church and her Saviour, her place in the church at the worship was never vacant when she was able to be there, and was a faithful supporter of the work of the church.

Funeral services were held at Eagle Grove from the Kubitschek & Kastler Funeral Home and from the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church on Tuesday, June 11. Burial was made in- the Rose Hill cemetery.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral of Mrs. Danielson were Mrs. Elma Thompson and son, Buddy, Miss Maybelle Danielson of Omaha, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Danielson of Pierre, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Danielson and son of Chicago, Mrs. H. C. Yoeman, Mrs. A. D. Broceland, Mrs. Irwin Debner of Chicago. Miss Mary Nelson of Slater, Mrs. R. D. Crosley and daughter, Kay, Mrs. C. K. Kratoska, Glenn Bates. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Nelson and daughters, Lois and Dorothy, Mrs. Helen Bates and daughter, Ruth all of Ames, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nelson of Elmore, Minn., Will Nelson of Fairmont, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Anderson and daughter, Louise and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nelson of Goldfield.
