Death of Samual Danielson

Samual Danielson died at Wesley hospital in Chicago Nov. 12, from injuries received in this city September 30 by falling from his wagon at the mill.

Our local physicians did much for him here and it was thought a time at the hospital might result in his full, recovery, but the Injuries proved too serious for human skill and death resulted as above.

The remains were brought here Thursday morning and the funeral was held in the Norwegian church Friday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev’s. Sletten and Holm conducting and the burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Danielson was born in Norway In 1836. He came to this country and was married and lived in Wisconsin until 1873 when he came to Iowa in Story county and about eight years ago moved upon his farm east of this city. He was first married to Miss Rasmussen and seven children-were born to them, six of whom are living. Mrs. Fred Anderson, a daughter, died a few years ago. Fred, Jake, Rasmus, Lever, Mary and Mrs. M. N. Sadler are the living children. His second marriage was with Miss Anna Nelson in Story county and four children were born to this union.

Mr. Danielson was a successful farmer and leaves one of Wright county's best farms for his family.

The bereaved family have the sympathy of all friends and neighbors.
