Mrs. John Vike’s Funeral Today In Baptist church

Funeral services will be this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock in the First Baptist Church for Mrs. John Vike, 78, who died Tuesday morning at the Rotary Ann Home.

She was a patient there for four days, following an extended stay in a Des Moines hospital following surgery.

Rev. Arthur Anderson will officiate at the services and burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Vike is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Gerald Hansen, and one grandson of Des Moines.

Mrs. Vike was the former Lotta Worrell and was born in Harlan, Iowa. She came here with her parents in 1904. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Equality Club and the Order of Eastern Star.
