Arthur F. Nicholson, 57, of Iowa Falls, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Hospice of North Iowa in Mason City. Memorial services will be 10:30 am Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Immanuel Memorial United Church of Christ in Alden. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Northlawn Memory Gardens. Woodley Funeral Home, LLC of Iowa Falls assisted the family with cremation care.

Arthur F. Nicholson was born on September 3, 1958 to Clifford and Esther (Bessman) Nicholson. On April 30, 1967 he was baptized in Buckeye, Iowa. He attended Alden Community School and served in the Marine Corps. He was united in marriage to Melissa Nicholson [Melissa Sue Mayne] on July 19, 2003 in Clarion, Iowa. Art lived in Iowa Falls and was a truck driver.

Arthur Nicholson is survived by his wife, Melissa Nicholson of Oxford, New York; his children, Rebecca Nicholson of Hampton, Iowa, Shelley Nicholson of Hampton, Iowa, Emmalee Nicholson and Jonathon Nicholson of Iowa Falls, Iowa; grandchildren: Dominic, Peyton and Christian; three sisters, Lora (Charles) Hunt, Jan Swires and Martha Crosby and a brother, Clifford Bruce Nicholson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Cathy Bennett.
