Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Keleher of Kansas City, Mo. have been visiting here. They came to see Mr. Keleher’s mother, Mrs. Hattie Irwin, at the Clarion Memorial Hospital, and Mr. Irwin at the Belmond Nursing Home. Mrs. Irwin died on Monday at the Clarion hospital and services were held today on Wednesday, August 1 at Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hattie Amelia Irwin passed away Sunday, July 29, 1979, at the age of 88 years in the Clarion Memorial Hospital. She had been ill and in the hospital for several weeks.

Hattie was born to George and Mary YoungLove on October 13, 1890, in Clay Center, Nebraska. She got her schooling in Clay Center.

On August 21, 1917, she was married to Frank Keleher at Eagle Grove, la. Frank passed away in 1937. On March 29,1944, she married Allen Irwin of Eagle Grove in Fort Dodge, Ia. They made their home in Eagle Grove.

Those who mourn her departure are: Her husband, one son, Gordon Keleher of Independence, Mo.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother, Chris YoungLove of Cody, Wyo.

Preceding her in death were her previous husband, three brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 1,1979, 2 p.m. at Kastler-Babcock-DeYoung Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Rev. Carl Jensen officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
