After a lingering illness and great suffering for months, Chas Pinder died at his home in this place at 5'oclock Monday afternoon. Mr. Pinder was one of Goldfield's pioneers. A kind father, a good neighbor, a Christian man, he was loved and respected by all who knew him. The immediate family who morn his death are his wife, Hattie Plumley Pinder, his two sons, Alvin and Freeman, and four daughters, Mrs. Lucy Crowley, Gussie, Beaulah and Fern. The sympathy of the whole community is their's in their sorrow.
