Margaret L. Bailey

BELMOND–Margaret L. Bailey, 85, of Belmond, died Monday (July 15, 1985) at a Belmond hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church here, with Father Robert J. Ament officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

Mrs. Bailey was born June 5, 1900 at Belmond to J.N. and Mary (Clark) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thayne Bailey; two brothers, one sister, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be after noon today, with a rosary at 2:30 p.m. by the Rosary Society and a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. The Tenold Funeral Home, Belmond, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Jeanne) Bamford, Belmond; and Mrs. William (Janis) Quinby, Cedar Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Marie C. Stark, Belmond; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
