MARLENE MARJORIE HARTY

Marlene Marjorie Skiye was born on April 6,1936, at Hardy, Iowa, and was tbe daughter of Willis and Dorothy Allie Skiye. She was raised and educated in Clarion, Iowa, and graduated from Clarion High School. She attended Beauty School for two years following high school. She married Dean E. Harty January 23, 1975, at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After their marriage they lived in Clarion and she worked in Eagle Grove as Head Cook at the Senior Citizens Center. In 1988, they moved to Necedah, Wis. She worked at tbe Cabinet Patch Spa in Necedah.

Marlene M. Harty died Sunday, February 14, 1999, at the University Hospital in Madison, Wis., at the age of 62.

Survivors include her- husband, Dean E. Harty, Necedah, Wis., two daughters, Catherine A. Asmus, Dows, Iowa, and Jacqueline J. Wolff, Goldfield, Iowa; three sons, Donald R. Martin, Jr., Clarion, David R. Martin, Clarion, and Dwight R. Martin, Clarion; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Duane Skiye, Sunrise Beach, Mo., and Gary Skiye, Belmond, Iowa; and one sister, Sandra Stokke, Bloomington, Minn.

She was preceded in death by both parents; and an infant sister, Deloris.

Funeral services were held on Friday, February 19, 1999, at 1:30 p.m. at the Willim Funeral Home in Clarion with Reverend Gary Boen officiating. Burial was in tbe Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.

Willim Funeral Home in Clarion was in charge of arrangements.
