Page 3, Column 3The mother of H. L. Pickering died on the 9th last, at his residence near town. She has been a great sufferer for a number of years past, and her death was not an unlooked for event. The funeral occurred on the 11th and her remains interred in Rosehill cemetery. She was 82 years of age.
