Mrs. Clarence Meyer

BELMOND - Mrs. Clarence (Leoda) Meyer, 53, rural Belmond, died Friday at the Belmond Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church. The Rev. Conrad Rolland and the Rev. Harris Hostager will officiate. Burial will be in Belmond Cemetery with Fulton Funeral Home of Belmond in charge.

Surviving are her husband, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Wickware, Des Moines; a brother, Lee Lowenberg, Castle Rock, Colo. Her parents, John and Kate Wenzell Lowenberg, preceded her in death.

Services held for Mrs. Leoda Meyer

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Clarence Meyer of Belmond Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in St. John Lutheran church. Pastors Harris Hostager and Conrad Rolland officiated. Mrs. Meyer died Friday at the Belmond Community hospital. Burial was in Belmond cemetery. Fulton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers selected were Avron Kreitlow, Harold A. Smith, Louis Mennenga, Louis Seebeck and Junior Meyhew, all of Belmond, and Dennis Barkema of Goodell.

Leoda Barbra Lowenberg, was born Oct. 1, 1918 at Goodell, the daughter of John and Kate Wenzell Lowenberg. She was educated in the Belmond schools and was a member of St. John Lutheran church. On Sept. 16, 1956, she was married to Clarence Meyer at Belmond.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, a brother, Lee Lowenberg of Castle Rock, Colo., and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) Wickware.
