Kenneth Irvin State born on May 23, 1907 in Galt, Iowa to John Melchior State of Port Washington, Wisconsin and Cora Oretta Ballou of Clarence, Iowa died on September 8, 1991 of pneumonia. He was the youngest son in a family of thirteen children. He has two living sisters, Gladys Nelson and Janice Peterson. He worked as a grocer and in the defense industry. His second marriage was to Katherlne Handy Allred now deceased. He is survived by a son, Forrest, and daughters, Kathleen and Judith. He has 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Services 12 noon. Thursday, September 12 at Apple Valley 4th Ward. Pierce Brothers, Daly and Bartel, Spencer Mortuary, Anaheim.
