Word has been received of the death of Josephine L. Mellgren, 94, of Ebenezer Hall, Minneapolis, Minn. She is survived by one sister, Bernice McCoy, of Des Moines, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lena and John Mellgren; two brothers, Oscar and John Richard Mellgren; and six sisters, Hazel Mellgren, Claire Hanson, Beatrice Kastler, Blanche Barker, Ione Askvig, and Ardythe Wells.
A prayer service and burial will be held Thursday, January 25, 2001, at 11:30 a.m., at Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa.
Memorials are to be sent to Central Lutheran Church or Loring Park Restoration Fund.
