William K. Cowan was born in Eagle Grove on September 9, 1916. He was a graduate of Eagle Grove High School, Junior College and the University of Arizona. He retired from CBS T.V. He was the son of Paul and Margaret Cowan. Survivors are his wife, Betty [Edmondson]; sister, Betty, daughter, Christine Lewis and grandson, Zachary. After a short illness, he died on June 1, 1984. Private services were held in Valencia, Calif.
