Ralph Brantl was born on April 20, 1915, to Louis and Amy Vanek Brantl at Grand Forks, N.D. He worked as a diesel, mechanic in Boone, Iowa, before retiring in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Ralph Brantldied Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at the Eldora Nursing and Rehab Center at Eldora, Iowa, at the age of 83. Survivors indued several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lettie, and one brother, Herbert. There were no services locally. He was cremated and his ashes will be buried at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery at Tabor, Minn. Willim Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
