Sue M. Zimmerman passed away February 20, 2018 at Taylor House Hospice [in Des Moines, Iowa]. She is survived by her son, Robert R. and Susan Adkins of Warminster, PA; grandson, Brett Adkins of North Woodstock, NH; sister, Pam Fox of Clive; brothers, Mike Farrell of Fort Dodge and Doug Farrell of Eldora; ten nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews.

Sue enjoyed and was a very active member of the West Des Moines Elks Lodge #2752 for 18 years. She was the first female Exalted Ruler from 2002-2003. Sue assisted with many projects, however her most favorite and devoted efforts went towards all Veteran Projects.

Sue had many hobbies with her number one being the CUBS. Sue knew everything about the baseball team and kept data every year on the CUBS. You could ask her anything going back many years and she had the answers for you. Sue was an avid cribbage player, enjoyed her gardening and canning, she was a movie buff and enjoyed going to Prairie Meadows with her girlfriends. Sue was a very devoted friend.
