Former Resident Buried Here Tuesday
Graveside services were held at Rose Hill Cemetery Tuesday, at 1 p.m. for Linsworth Cleveland, 54, of Des Moines. Funeral services were held at 9:30 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Des Moines. Mr. Cleveland died Friday at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines following a short illness from pneumonia. Mr. Cleveland was a native of Eagle Grove, and for many years was a linotype operator for the Eagle Grove Eagle. He moved to Des Moines 18 years ago when he became a machinist for the Des Moines Register and Tribune.His wife, who was a daughter of Mrs. Hannah Johnson and sister, of Ogden and Herbert Johnson
died several years ago. He is survived by two children, Charlotte and George, his mother, Mrs. Hattie Holck of Kanawha, two sisters, Mrs. James Payne of Belmond, Mrs. William Gourley of Corwith, and a brother, Harvey of San Francisco, Calif., and a half brother, Lowell Kalvig of Anaheim, Cal.Eagle Grove Eagle -- Eagle Grove, Iowa
