Funeral services for James Lynch who died Wednesday, April 24, were held Friday morning at Sacred Heart church in charge of Rev. J. L. Byrne. Burial was in the family lot in Calvary cemetery. Mrs. George Indra of Des Moines, the former Mary Indra, and her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Indra Jr. were present from out of town.

Jim Lynch Dies Wednesday P. M.
James Lynch, 95, died at the home of Mrs. Ida Nelson, Wednesday afternoon, after a lingering illness. Mr. Lynch was a long time resident of Eagle Grove, and is a former C. and N. W. R. R. engineer, having been pensioned about 25 years ago. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. George Indra, Dr. Robert Lynch and Dr. Oliver Lynch, all of Des Moines. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
