Robert Franklin Hall
14 September 1864 --- 24 September 1935Frank R. Hall, son of Charles Henry and Anna Elizabeth Stoneburner Hall was born Sept. 14, 1864 at Lisbon, Iowa, and passed away suddenly just before midnight, at his home on North Iowa, Tuesday, Sept. 24, his age being 71 years and 10 days. He was first married to Mrs. Kate Richards, at Lisbon, who passed away several years ago.
Later he was united in marriage on Oct. 8, 1923 to Mrs. Lela Waddell Thebiay, who survives. There also remain to mourn his passing, three brothers and a sister, William B., Oscar D. and Katherine May of Lisbon, Iowa; and Charles Henry of Eagle Grove, and one granddaughter, Patricia Ann Davis, besides numerous nephews and nieces.
Under his father in 1880 he became a bridge carpenter for the C. & N. W. R. R. Later he rented a farm near Eagle Grove, then spent several years on farms in Wisconsin and South Dakota. In 1918 he came again to Eagle Grove where he was employed by the C. N. W. R. R. until his retirement last year. He was well known for his genial disposition and great love for children.
