Marie Lawson Meyers died Tuesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Joe Schuller, formerly the old Lawson home after a lingering illness. Mrs. Meyers has made her home with her sisters for the past year, but for the last several months during her last illness she has been tenderly cared for by her sisters Mrs. Schuller and Mrs. Harry Roach in this city.

She was a music teacher by profession and taught here for five years. She was a graduate of the Chicago School of Piano and also studied at Ames and Fort Dodge. She made her home in Waterloo for a number of years.
About three years ago she took up the study of beauty culture at the Marinello School in Chicago and became very proficient in her work. On account of her failing health she was forced to give up her work a year ago.
Funeral services will be Friday at the Kubitschek and Kastler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery beside her parents.
Mrs. Meyers is survived by her six sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Joe Schuller and Mrs. Harry Roach of this city; Mrs. A.H. Shultz and Mrs. Frank Boggs of Clarion; Mrs. Fred Gates of Nevada; Mrs. Fred Hobus of Council Bluffs; J.B. Lawson of Fort Dodge and Gilbert and Lewis Lawson of this city.
