The remains of Rush Haven Cleveland were brought here from Minneapolis, MN on Saturday, November 12, for burial in the Rose Hill cemetery.
The deceased was for a number of years an employee of the C.N.W. Railway at this place. After the death of his wife Almira Lovina Cleveland at this place March 7, 1901 he moved to Minneapolis where he died on November 11th.
He was born at Elnora, NY October 11, 1848 and when 21 years old moved to Samoniac, IL where he met Almira Kellog to whom he was united in marriage on November 12, 1871. Six children were born to them, two of whom died in infancy.
The deceased leaves one brother, Charles of Minneapolis, MN; two sisters: Jennie Clayse of Joliet, IL and Josephine Kellog of Aurora, IL; and four children: Homer E. of Cheney, WA; Herbert O. of Minneapolis; Charles D. of Fort Dodge, IA and Jennie C. Jones of Eagle Grove.
The funeral services were conducted at the Church of God November 13th after which his remains were placed in the Rose Hill cemetery.
