Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) for Mrs. Thomas Hamer, 32, of Eagle Grove who was fatally injured in a farm accident on Saturday, Nov 27. Mrs. Hamer was injured while helping her husband elevate corn into a crib at their farm home about six miles southeast of Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Hamer was the former Elaine Odland of near Holmes. She is survived by her husband, Thomas, a daughter, Glenda, 10, and twin sons, Dean and Dale, 8. Also by her mother, Mrs. Leila Odland of Des Moines, two sisters, Mrs. W. D. Wurch of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Robert Schmidt of Des Moines, and a brother, Delmer Odland of Thatcher, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her father Elmer Odland, and a brother Richard.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p m. in the Methodist church in Woolstock. Rev. Gordon Freeburg will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery here.
