LOUISE O'TOOL
Louise Langbein was born January 10, 1933 in Early, Iowa, to Carl and Pansy (Hamman) Langbein. On June 20, 1950, she was married to Duane O'Tool in Wall Lake. She served on various district offices in the United Methodist Church from 1962 - 1972. From 1973 - 1977 she was Iowa County Deputy Treasurer in Marengo. She was a secretary for the Roland-Story Elementary School in Story City from 1977 - 1982. In 1982, she was secretary for Churdan-Lanesboro United Methodist Church. In 1983 she served as vice president of Church Women United in Lake City. From 1984 - 1987 she served as secretary for Allbright Insurance Agency and Lake City Chamber of Commerce. She was co-owner of the Lake City Drive Inn from 1987 to the present. She was also a member of the Lake City Union Church.

Louise O'Tool, 59, Lake City, formerly of Goldfield, died Wednesday, February 19, 1992, after a brief struggle with cancer at Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Mrs. Tom (Margo) Wald, Goldfield; son Mark and his wife, Angela of Omaha, Neb.; daughter, Mrs. David (Marlene) Doolittle of Story City; son, Marlyn and his wife, Brenda of Milford; ten grandchildren, Marcella Wald, Nicholas O'Tool, Michael O'Tool, Christopher O'Tool, Erin O'Tool, Jason Doolittle, Jennifer Doolittle, Jenessa Doolittle, Justin Doolittle, and Jacob O'Tool; brothers, Don Langbein of Des Moines; Harry Langbein of Lake View; and John Langbein of Fort Dodge; sisters, Dorothy Bowman of Anchorage, Alaska, and Thelma Hubbard of Winterset; six nephews and twelve nieces.

Services were held Saturday, February 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Lake City Union Church with the Rev. Dale Stone officiating. Burial was in the Wall Lake Cemetery.
