Lillie Anderson, the daughter of Carl and Emille B. Gunderson Anderson, was born on July 13, 1908 at Vincent, Iowa. She died early Friday morning, Sept. 18, 1981 at the Hampton Nursing Home in Hampton, Franklin County, Iowa. She attained the age of 73 years, 2 months and 5 days. During her life, due to a health condition, she had spent most of her life in the Glenwood State Hospital, the Woodward State Hospital and several nursing homes. She had lived at the Sullivan Nursing Home in Eagle Grove and for the past several years had been a resident of the Hampton Nursing Home. She was baptized in the Catholic faith. She is survived by one brother, Henry J. Anderson of Sacramento, Calif, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ruth, and two brothers, Rudolph and Oscar. Graveside services for Miss Lillie Anderson were held at the Calvary Cemetery in Eagle Grove on Saturday, Sept. 19, 1981 at 10 a.m. Rev. Fr. John Hemann of Sacred Heart Church officiated. Visitation was held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home.
