Last rites Friday for former Thor resident
Funeral services for Mrs. G. B. (Thelma Knutson) Gummerson, age 78, of Westminister, Colo, and formerly of Thor and Des Moines, will be held on Friday afternoon, Oct. 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ullensvang Lutheran Church in Thor. Burial will be in the Norway Lake Cemetery near Thor. Visitation will be held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home after noon on Thursday, Oct. 1. She is survived by her husband of Westminister; a son, Gerald of Boulder, Colo.; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Iva Nessa of Eagle Grove and a brother, Howard Knutson of Clear Lake. She died enroute to a hospital at Denver Colo, on Saturday, Sept. 26, after becoming ill at her home.
