Fred C. Musfelt Succumbs Monday
Fred C. Musfelt, 87, died Monday morning at Clarion Memorial hospital, where he was taken Saturday following a heart attack at his home here. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 o'clock at the Eyler funeral home. Rev. R. S. Steakley, pastor of the Congregational church, will conduct the services. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. John McTce of Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. Oscar Rice of Clarion, and one son, Oscar Musfelt of Clarion. Also surviving are six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mr. Musfelt, retired farmer and painter, was taken sick Saturday. He and his wife were to have observed their 61st wedding anniversary Tuesday. The Musfelts farmed near Elkport and later in the Klemme vicinity for many years. Twenty five years ago they came to Clarion and during that time has worked as a painter and decorator.
