James G. Hill was born June 12, 1910, the son of Wallace and Minnie Bige Hill at Webster City. On September 6, 1928, he was united in marriage to Lucille Lamb of Osceola at Webster City. To this union six children were born. The family has always resided in Eagle Grove.
Jim Hill worked for Wilson & Company and for many years he drove the milk truck for Bordens Dairy. He retired from Webster City Products (Franklins) due to ill health. Mr. Hill had been in the Clarion nursing home for the past two and one-half years. James G. Hill died November 29,1987 at the Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Glen, George, Earl, and Howard; three sisters, Jessie, Hazel and Alice. He is survived by his wife, Lucille of Eagle Grove; three sons, James Hill, Oak Harbor, Wash.; Robert, Eagle Grove; Bruce D. Hill, Webster City; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) Brayton, Eagle Grove; Mrs. Lee (Dolly) Myers, Eagle Grove; Mrs. James (Donna) Ferguson, New Richland, Minn.; 22 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home December 2, 1987 at 10 a.m. with the Rev David Miller officiating.
