Lucille L. Hill died on Wednesday, December 19, 2001, at the Rotary Ann Nursing Home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, at the age of 86. Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Brayton, and husband, Robert, Eagle Grove, Dolly Myers, Eagle Grove, and Donna Ferguson, New Richland, Minn.; two sons, Robert L. Hill, and wife, Loretta, Eagle Grove, and Bruce D. Hill, and wife, Marilyn, Webster City, Iowa; 26 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandchild. Funeral services were held Friday, December 21, at 10:30 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Lucille Lamb, the daughter of William and Jessie Wilcox Lamb, was born on January 10, 1915, in Osceola, Iowa. She attended school in Webster City. She was united in marriage with James G. Hill on September 6, 1928, at Webster City. They were married for 57 years. She was employed by Wilson and Company of Eagle Grove from 1942 to 1948. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eagle Grove. Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
