Carl Hart, 91, Dows, formerly of Williams, died Monday Nov 28, at the Dows Care Center, where he had resided for the past nine years. Funeral services will be held Friday Dec 2, at the Elledge Funeral Home in Dows, Rev John Mann officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation at the Elledge Funeral Home will be after 2pm Thursday until the time of service.

Carl Hart son of Joseph and Martha Knutson Hart, was born June 20, 1897 in Webster City. He was raised and educated in Williams, where he spent his life. He was employed with the elevator, railroad and as a farm hand. He is survived by a brother Joe, Dows; and a sister Elizabeth Kepler, Webster City. Mr. Hart was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
