Arlene Wiemann passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Muse Norris Hospice, Mason City, IA. Funeral services will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home, Belmond, Iowa. Visitation will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Belmond Cemetery in Belmond. Memorials may be directed to the family % Darlene Ewers 410 N Madison Ave, Mason City, IA 50401.

Arlene Rosetta Harms, the daughter of Taus and Cecelia (Heginger) Harms, was born August 20, 1945 at Sheffield, IA. Arlene grew up in a large family where everyone worked hard. She carried that hard working work ethic in her house cleaning for several people in their homes and Holiday Inn in Mason City. Arlene also loved to do crafts, knitting and make beaded jewelry.

Arlene was a loving and caring mother for her son Scott Allen Harms who passed away at eight years old. She was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Arlene is survived by her sister Darlene Ewers of Mason City and brothers, Bennie (Jean) Harms of Mason City, Larry (Maxine) Harms of Sheldon, Harry (Barb) Harms of Hampton, Ron (Nancy) Harms of Belmond, Jerry (Marlene) Harms of Evansdale, Gary Harms of Belmond, sister-in-law, Georgia Harms of Hampton and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Taus and Cecelia Harms, her son Scott Allen Harms, brothers Taus Harms Jr. and Donnie Harms and brother-in-law, Dexter Ewers. Andrews Funeral Homes handling arrangements.
