Carl John Coltvet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tores Coltvet, was born Nov. 23, 1910, at the farm home four miles west of town. Carl had always been an active, robust boy until a week before his death. He was of an unusual kindly disposition and an inspiration to all with whom he came in contact. Carl was a member of the Samuel Lutheran church and was, a faithful attendant of his Sunday School class. He leaves to mourn his early departure, father and mother, five brothers and five sisters, Peter, Ella, Milford of Madelia, Minn., Amanda of Minneapolis, Elmer, Emma, August, Madeline, Harold and Alice. Funeral services were held at the West Side Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, May 20. Interment was made at Rose Hill cemetery.
