Evelyn Larson, 89, of Mitchellville, Iowa passed away peacefully on June 25, 2015. She was born on September 24, 1925 in Minnesota to James and Amy Spires. She spent most of her childhood in Canada before moving back to Iowa in 1938. Her family resided in Woolstock and other various Iowa towns until settling in Mitchellville. Evelyn enjoyed gardening, traveling, horseback riding, sewing, and keeping busy. Evelyn is survived by her 7 children, 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Preceding Evelyn in death were her 6 brothers, 2 sisters, and 1 grandson. There are no services planned Evelyn at this time.
