Donald Wilbur Seifert was born June 6, 1928, to Wilbur and Mae Seifert on a farm south of Clarion, Iowa, and he lived there until he graduated, from the Clarion High School in 1945. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Caroline Orr on December 8, 1945, from Eagle Grove. They lived in Clarion until 1962, where he worked as a mechanic for Don Collins, and then moved to Hialeah, Fla., and was there several years until moving to Lorida, Fla.

Donald Wilbur Seifert died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at the hospital in Sebring, Fla., at the age of 69. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, Lorida, Fla.; Donna Scheer and husband, Charles, and daughter, Elizabeth, and grandson, Andrew, from Gainsville, Fla.; Carol Seifert; Sharon Tullis and her four children; one brother, Melvin Seifert; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: and one son, Michael Duane Seifert, who died shortly after birth. He was cremated and services will be held at a later date.
