February, 1855 --- December 28, 1930

Mrs. Calvin Schaeffer, 70, died at the home of her son, Frank, at Avoca, Minn., Sunday, Dec. 28. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 31 at the M. E. church at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Troy cemetery. The Schaeffer family were residents of Troy township several years ago and Mr. Schaeffer, a son, and a daughter are buried in the Troy cemetery. Three sons live to mourn the loss of their mother. They are, Lloyd, who lives near Minneapolis. Minn., Frank and Robert of Avoca, Minn. They have many acquaintances in this locality who will extend sincere sympathy.
