Maude Stella Mapes died at her home in Troy township, Monday, January 13, from spinal meningitis. The deceased was 36 years, 2 months and 1 day of age and leaves to mourn her death, her husband, three children, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Schaeffer of Avoca, Minn., and three brothers. Burial took place Wednesday, January 15. Rev. Dale of the Vincent church having charge.
