December 8, 1868 ---- August 10, 1948

Sarah Edith Snider was born Dec. 8, 1868 in South Wayne, Wis. In 1888 she was united in marriage to Andrew Law Stuart, who preceded her in death Nov. 16, 1932. To Mr. and Mrs. Stuart were born two children: Grace, who survives her, and Hazel, who passed away May 1, 1943. Other relatives who mourn her loss are two grandsons and two great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

For the past two years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Renne in Omaha, where she passed away August 10. While living in Eagle Grove she held membership in the Methodist church and was an active participant in the woman's organizations. She also belonged to the W.C.T.U., The Order of the Eastern Star, The White Shrine and The King's Daughters, and the Equality Club.

Services were held at Wilson's Chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, August 13, 1948, Rev. Clarence W. Tompkins of Fort Dodge officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
