Hazel Geraldine (Feaker) Latch Kaplan

December 2, 1901 ---- January 23, 1966

Funeral services for Mrs. John Kaplan, 64, were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Congregational Church with the Rev. Emmett Braselton officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Kaplan died Sunday evening about 6 o'clock at her home on North Cadwell Ave. She had been in failing health for many years, and bedfast for four years. A brother of Mrs. Kaplan, Guy Feaker, 62, died earlier the same day at his home in Green Bay, Wis., and another brother Vernon Feaker, 58, is gravely ill in Marshalltown.

Mrs. Kaplan is survived by her husband, three daughters Mrs. Lawrence Dirlam of Des Moines, Mrs. Robert Comstock, and Mrs. Harry Lewright, Jr. and eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Joan Kubik. She is also survived by three brothers, and one sister, Arnold Feaker of Solon, Ia., Woodrow Feaker of Iowa Falls, Vernon Feaker of Marshalltown and Mrs. Leo Beamish of Mason City. She was a member of the First Congregational church, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the White Shrine.

The Eastern Star memorial services were held at the Kastler Funeral Home Monday night.
